The Respiratory System
The main function of the Respiratory System is to gather oxygen and release Carbon Dioxide. The Cardiovascular System works with the Respiratory System because the respiratory system gathers oxygen for the body and the cardiovascular system oxidizes the blood which it then pumps throughout the body. Oxygen is needed for all cells and the oxygen is collected from the Respiratory System. The Heart then pumps the oxygen through your blood and to each and every cell, therefore keeping your body in homeostasis.
